Students should be studying for the mid-east map test and completing 4 current events articles on the Middle East. Both of these are due on B=5/2 and A=5/5. There is an extra credit map test on easter Europe. Kids can sign up to take the test during office hours by Thurs 5/1.

We will be finishing our study of the Cold War and working on the geography of Eastern Europe. The OPEN NOTE test on Chapt 28 is on B=4/18 & A=4/21...be sure you study for it by reading over your studyguide and all lecture notes several times and highlighting them.

This week we will have Vietnam Veterans speak to us about their tours of duty during the Vietnam War. We will continue looking at events during the Cold War focusing on JFK's administration and how the US effort to contain communism led to "hot spots" around the world.
